法医解剖の経験から浮かび上がる問題点に基づき、薬物や疾病に関連する生体機能とその変調を検出することを目標にして。実験的アプローチによる研究を進めています。解剖実務に関しても十分な研鑽を積むことを重視しています。
Based on the issues that emerge from forensic autopsies, we are conducting research using an experimental approach with the goal of detecting biological functions and their modulations related to drugs and diseases. We also place importance on accumulating sufficient training in anatomy practice.
薬物関連死や突然死の病態解明を目指す

死の病態生理と生体システム -Pathophysiology of death and biological systems
解剖検査において形態的異常を認めない死亡例や低用量での薬物関連死などの病態生理を明らかするため、機能的生体システムの変調を検出する研究を進めている。例えば依存性薬物の連用によるドーパミン神経系の変動に内因性カンナビノイドシステムが保護的に作用する可能性を明らかにしてきている。
In order to elucidate the pathophysiology of deaths without morphological abnormalities on autopsy and low-dose drug-related deaths, we are conducting research to detect changes in some functional biological systems. For example, we have clarified the possibility that the endocannabinoid system in glial cells act protectively against changes in the dopaminergic nervous system due to the long-term use of addictive drugs.
