医事法・医療倫理学では、現代社会における医療に係る問題分野で、先端的・先進的研究活動を行っています。法学・医学など異なる学問分野を融合した高度な専門的知識を有して社会の中核を担う能力を有する人材の養成を目標としています。
We are engaged in cutting-edge advanced research activities in modern society's medical issues. The goal is to cultivate human resources with a high level of specialized knowledge across different academic fields such as law and medicine, and who have the ability to play a central role in society.

MS目標2の包括データベース構築、数理解析および連携研究に伴う倫理的、法 的、社会的課題(ELSI)への対応-ELSI Initiative in Mathematical Collaborative Research and Comprehensive Database Construction across Moonshot Goal 2 Projects
ムーンショット事業、目標2におけるデータベース構築および数理的連携解析の進捗に伴い直面し得るリ倫理・法・社会的課題（ELSI）について、関連法、倫理指針、学会レベルでの議論を踏まえて、問題の本質を特定し、対応策及び対応実践を検討、解析結果の社会実装に向けた発展まで想定したELSIを検討しています。
Focusing on the Ethical, Legal, and Social Implications/Issues (ELSI) that will be faced with advances in database construction and mathematical collaborative analysis in Moonshot Goal 2 (MS Goal 2), we will consider associated laws, ethical guidelines, and discussions at the academic society level to identify the essence of problems, investigate countermeasures and practices, and clarify ELSI that assume the development of analysis results toward social implementation.
