Research Strategy and Capacity
We anticipate, develop and maintain digital platforms and databases for researcher profiles, research analytics and assessment, and resources for special technical capacities, and conduct the Survey of National Trends of Science and Technology.
Research Grant Management
We provide pre-award support for obtaining competitive center-wide and individual research grants, both domestic and international, and post-award services related to the operation and management of funded projects, and assisting with grant-related meetings and events. Our goal is to promote collaborations and build teams and communities that are ultimately fundable. Current institutional projects include the creation of a regional biomedical research hub JSPS J-PEAKS for the “Promotion of regional and distinctive research universities" through scientific programming, the creation of core research facilities, and related collaborative activity in Central Japan.
Scientific Communications
A special feature of FHU is professional editorial support for researchers in all of their scientific communications in English (research manuscripts, grants, conference papers, Powerpoint presentations, etc...). Our in-house native/fluent manuscript editors enable the publication of papers in top journals and successful grant applications with editing, proofreading, and research consulting. We also promote and advertise FHU research including press releases, conferences, and media relations, and conduct orthometrics, to increase citations papers. In April 2024 we introduced Cabells Predatory Reports, a comprehensive blacklist of unethical journals to manage university publishing quality.
Scientific Event Programming
We support scientific events for Fujita Health University including the planning and operation of large symposia, conferences, workshops, and both international and domestic seminar series working closely with faculty and staff. Other special events include university open lectures, technical seminars, and the hosting of international delegations. The CMS Seminar Club is organized for the Center for Medical Sciences (CMS). The ORA Seminar covers topics helpful for researchers capabilities to enhance the university's research output. The Fujita Neuroscience Forum is a monthly high-profile seminar series organized for the International Center for Brain Science (ICBS) .
