Joint-Symposium with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine
On December 1, the School of Health Sciences signed an MOU agreement with the Rehabilitation Research Institute of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, focusing on rehabilitation.
The MOU, which was concluded last June for the purpose of academic cooperation and personnel exchange between Fujita Health University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, is intended to strengthen mutual cooperation in the field of rehabilitation as an extension of the previous MOU.
To conclude the MOU, a total of 11 members, including Professor Fan Xiangqun, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Dean of the School of Medicine, visited the university for three days from November 29 to December 1.
In addition to university and university hospital tours, they participated in a joint symposium with the Department of Rehabilitation and the Department of Nursing, and shared their expertise with students and faculty members.
They also visited the newly opened Center for Advanced Medical Research, where they saw the state-of-the-art medical treatment and rehabilitation robots.
With the conclusion of this agreement, the two institutions aim to play a leading role in Asia in the field of rehabilitation and contribute to the improvement of medical standards in Asia as a whole.
