National University of Singapore Visited Fujita Health University
On September 21, Dr. Tan Eng Chye, President of the National University of Singapore (NUS), and members from NUS visited Fujita Health University for the first time since the MOU agreement was signed in August this year. They were welcomed by Chairman Hoshinaga and President Yuzawa and later toured the hospital facilities, including the Surgical Training Center.
On the same day, an MOU commemorative lecture on the topic of Gastroenterological Surgery was held with Prof. Jimmy So (NUS) and Prof. Suda (FHU) as speakers. They presented the latest preclinical and clinical research on intraperitoneal chemotherapy, the progress and the journey of robotic surgery in Japan.
FHU and NUS plan to start the exchange program for their medical students in FY2024, and we expect further collaborations in the education and research fields.
