On the 18th of August, an online cross-cultural nursing seminar was held between Khon Kaen University and FHU (Faculty of Nursing). Seventeen students from FHU, twenty-one from Khon Kaen University, and eleven faculty members from both universities participated in the seminar. In the morning, they took a lecture on COVID-19 measures in both countries and had a group discussion on infection prevention measures and the impact on university life. In the afternoon, they took a lecture on breastfeeding in Japan and the orphanage system in Thailand. Students gave presentations on the food culture, nursing education, nursing practice and had a general discussion. This seminar was an excellent opportunity for cross-cultural exchange and mutual understanding. It led to further strengthening of cooperation between the two schools.
