On November 1, an online lecture with Ms. Mitsuko Biro was held. Ms. Mitsuko Biro is an alumna of Fujita Health University and currently living in Sweden.
She is active as an ASIH (Avanserad sjukvård i hemmet; advanced home health care) nurse, coordinator nurse, medical interpreter, and interpretation coordinator in Sweden.

A total of 31 students, faculty, and staff participated in this online lecture.
She discussed about what ASIH is, where patients can receive the same level of medical care at home as the one in a hospital. She also shared about her duties as an ASIH nurse, how to manage cooperation and communication among staff, her tips on acquiring Swedish language skills and nursing license. She also advised students to work in Japan first to develop nursing skills before going abroad.
She touched on the importance of investing in yourself when you are in your 20s.
The latter made quite an impression for the participants and her experiences motivated especially our young students to invest in themselves while they are in their 20s.

Many students who are interested in working overseas participated in the Q&A session, which made the session into a lively discussion.
