Inuyama One Day Trip with international students
One Day Trip to Inuyama was held for international students, trainees, and Japanese students on October 14.
A total of 26 participants, including four international graduate students who enrolled our university in this October, visited Inuyama Castle and its castle town.
It was the first time to visit Inuyama for most of international students. They listened intently to the guide's explanation and were impressed by the fact that the old castle has been preserved until today. They were surprised at the steep stairs of the castle building, donjon, and climbed up and down with trepidation.

In Castle Town, they had a chance to experience lantern painting at the historical house of Horibe family. They decorated lanterns with colors and patterns of their choices, which turned out to be good souvenirs for them. Thanks to explanations in English by Japanese students, the international students were able to work smoothly.
At Urakuen, they experienced tea ceremony while enjoying the view of the beautiful Japanese garden, and seemed satisfied with the rich flavor of matcha green tea.
Through this trip international students, trainees and Japanese students deepened their friendship and enjoyed Japanese culture together.
