Fujita Health University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University Ink an MOU
On June 5, 2023, Fujita Health University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine commemorated the conclusion of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two universities with a signing ceremony.
The event marks the milestone in their academic cooperation.
By signing this MOU, both parties aim to promote cooperation and contribute to the development of education and research at an international level.
The signing ceremony was held at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.
In present during the signing event were Vice President of Shanghai Jiaotong University who is also the Chancellor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, Dr. Fan Xianqun.
From our university, Chairman Kiyotaka Hoshinaga, President Yukio Yuzawa, Director of Center for International Relations, Dr. Kazuo Takahashi attended the ceremony.
"It is a great honor for us to conclude an exchange agreement with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, a world leader in education and medicine, and we hope that this agreement will promote world-class international research exchange between Japan and China." said President Yukio Yuzawa at the signing ceremony.
Chancellor Fan Xiangqun gave his commendation to Fujita Health University for its medical contributions and distinctive research in variety of fields. He also expressed his enthusiasm in seeking new collaboration with our university.
In the future, the two universities will hold regular academic exchange meetings and mutually dispatch researchers and students to promote exchanges between the two universities, as well as promote activities in a wide range of fields, including support for training medical professionals and mutual cooperation in the field of disaster medicine.
