On the 28th of July, we had an online party for international students. Sixteen students from 8 countries participated in the event. Some of the participants have not been able to come to Japan for more than a year due to the spread of coronavirus infection, and many of them are feeling anxious about the uncertain situation. To encourage these students, we planned this online party. At the party, they introduced themselves and enjoyed playing games. Some of the students said, “I was happy to build friendships with other students” “I hope the coronavirus will be under control soon and we can enjoy the 1-day trip and Sports Day as before”. The staff of the Center for International Relations will support them to be able to come to Japan as soon as possible.
