Procedures Before Your Departure
When our students are planning to study abroad*¹, please comply with the following contents and go through the procedures in advance.
*¹:Short-term and long-term study abroad, including leave of absence, overseas training, practical training programs, participation in academic conferences, etc.
◆ Applicable persons
Undergraduate and graduate students can submit the following documents to the person who is in charge of your faculty.
◆ Procedures before 3 months of departure
You can submit the following documents to the administration office of each faculty.

□ Pledge form
□ Application for attending a crisis management briefing session

◆ Before going abroad
1. You need to check the risk level of your destination through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website;
(http://www.anzen.mofa.go.jp/)
According to the University's standards, visiting a country with a risk level of 2 or more is prohibited.
Even if your destination has low risk level, please refrain your study abroad.
2. To avoid being sick, please check your current health condition and prepare your study abroad.
・ Required vaccination to prevent infectious diseases
・ Get an overseas travel insurance
・ Confirm health condition
◆During visiting and After returning
1. Center for International Relations will follow the students who stay for more than 6 month to check regarding study situations and health condition.
Please submit the report to admission office every 6 month.
2. Students are required to submit the report for returning to the office of each faculty within a week of your returning.
For students who are on leave of absence and wish to return to school, please contact the administration office of each faculty to that effect.
◆ Other
In addition to the above procedure, the necessary procedures may be required at each faculty. Please be sure to confirm with the administrative staff of each faculty and the faculty member in charge of the program.
