The Scholarship from Fujita Health University

Fujita Academy Grant

Fujita Academy offers its own academic support "Fujita Academy Grant" for prospective international students who are experiencing financial hardship that makes it difficult to start/continue their studies despite tremendous motivation to study at Fujita Health University (FHU). Recipients do not need to repay this grant.

Global Education and Research Grant

Eligible Person: International students enrolled in the Graduate School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Medical Sciences and the Graduate School of Health Sciences.

Applicable Project: “Global Education and Research Grant", the instructor who is planning to accept international graduate students hires them as research assistants for their international research project and submits the application. The subsidiary amount is 50,000 yen per person per month, and the number of acceptances is 2 to 4 students each year.

Grant Period: 4 years for the Graduate School of Medicine students, 2 years for the Graduate School of Medical Sciences and the Graduate School of Health Scinecnes students, both Master's and Doctoral Programs.

How to Apply: Download the application form from the following portal site and submit it to the Research Funds Management Division from the instructor of the international student who is planning to enter FHU.

Subsidies and Scholarships from the Japanese Government

MEXT Scholarship for Embassy Recommendation

For this scholarship, advanced scholarship research and early planning for study abroad are important since the selection procedure will take about one year.
Please read the details carefully and go through the procedures referring to the guideline.

Qualifications for applying
Research students who are to enter FHU in the spring semester (April, May) or the autumn semester (September, October) and meet the either conditions below
1. Regular students enrolled in master’s, doctoral, or professional graduate courses
2. Non-regular student in undergraduate, master’s, doctoral and students receiving the preparatory education

Scholarship Benefits
(Allowance)
1. Regular students enrolled in doctoral courses: 145,000yen per month
2. Regular students enrolled in master’s or professional degree courses: 144,000yen per month
3. Students receiving preparatory education and non-regular students: 143,000yen per month
(Education fees)
Fees for the entrance examination, matriculation, and tuition at university will be paid by MEXT.
(Travel Expenses)
An airline ticket to arrive in Japan (arriving date should be within 2 weeks before and after starting the university’s academic term.)

MEXT Scholarship for University Recommendation

For this scholarship, advanced scholarship research and early planning for study abroad are important since the selection procedure will take about half an year.
Please read the details carefully and go through the procedures referring to the MEXT's guideline.

Prior to submitting application materials to FHU, please contact faculty member whom you would like to have as a supervisor, and consult him/her about your application.

Research students who are willing to enter Japan in September or October and meet the conditions in the guideline.
