Call for Collaborative Research Support: Comprehensive behavioral test battery on your genetically engineered mice
-
We are currently accepting applications for the International Collaborative Research Support Project on behavioral phenotyping in genetically engineered mice using the comprehensive behavioral test battery.
Project Overview
Institute for Comprehensive Medical Science, Fujita Health University, is accredited as a Joint Usage/Research Center for Genes, Brain, and Behavior by the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). Our laboratory engages in collaborative research support for the comprehensive and efficient functional analysis of brain-related genes. In this project, we help researchers to investigate the functions of the gene of interest by comprehensive behavior analyses on genetically modified mice. The behavioral test battery includes more than 20 types of tests, and encompasses the evaluation of various behavioral domains, such as sensory-motor functions, anxiety-like behavior, social behavior, and learning and memory. Investigators prepare the mice for the behavioral tests and send them to our animal facility, where our staff members perform the tests and analyses.
Application
Visit our website (Call for Research Support ) for details. We accept applications by e-mail and the Application Form is available on the website. The applications are reviewed by our Review Committee.
