Fujita Academy offers financial support called "Fujita Academy Grant" for prospective international students experiencing financial difficulties despite tremendous motivation to study at Fujita Health University (FHU). Recipients are not required to repay this grant.
Fujita Academy offers financial support called "Fujita Academy Grant" for prospective international students experiencing financial difficulties despite tremendous motivation to study at Fujita Health University (FHU). Recipients are not required to repay this grant.
Eligible students
Eligible students are International Students with foreign nationality who are willing to be enrolled in the FHU Spring/ Autumn admission 2024 or who have already entered FHU.
- Number of recipients for 2024: 1 student
The grant would cover below fees;
- Enrollment Fee - Waiver
- Tuition Fees - Waiver
- On-Campus Housing - Waiver
Note:
Supporting period will be the standard enrollment period for the course completion at most
Housing outside of campus will not be covered by the grant
The exemption of annual tuition and dormitory fees for the following year will be decided through screening process based on the annual report and the number of recipients' obtained credits.

*Note: The period of application above is for 2024 Spring and Autumn Admission. There will be no other application period open other than the above dates.
Application method
- Applicants must consult the department professor of their program choice before this application. After receiving the professor's approval, please notify them of the intent to apply for the grant.
- Recipients are required to submit the required documents to the department professor.

- Statement of purpose (free format)
Selection Process
Applicants will be evaluated based on submitted documents such as application sheet, CV, and statement of purpose.

The result will be announced by e-mail from the Center for International Relations.

Conditions to fulfill after receiving the grant
- Recipients are required to submit "Fujita AcademyGrant Annual Progress Report: formal Jyukyu 1-3-2" each year starting from the second year as part of the annual screening process. The report is submitted to the Center for International Relations at least two months before the end of each academic year. The result will be announced by e-mail.
- Recipients need to report to the Center for International Relations in either case below:
- When the period of stay changes.
- When the recipient takes a year off or leaves school.
- When the recipient receives other financial support from FHU or other organizations.
The Grant Cancellation Policy
The grant may be canceled when the recipient falls under any of the following items:
- A long-term absence without reasonable grounds.
- When the recipient's financial situation changes and is deemed to be sufficient.
- When the recipient does not oblige to the conditions of scholarship.
- If the recipients provide a false statement on his/her application.
- Any other cases when the university decides not to continue the support.
